We would be meeting tomorrow for the last time this year, and the details are as follow:

Venue: University Chaplaincy Centre

Purpose: Study of Mark Chapter 3

13th December - Christmas Meal and Talk

Every year, there will be a Xmas dinner at Widcombe church. A time to share joys and to know about the origin of Xmas festive.
It's open to all, but sign-up necessary as seats limited.

• Experience a traditional two course Christmas dinner absolutely free of charge!
• We will also have a talk on the real meaning of Christmas.
• Christmas decorations and Christmas crackers will be available on your table.
• We will also be giving out a Christmas present to all of our guests!
• There will also be a time of Christmas Carol signing.
• Table tennis and the other freetime activities will be available.
• Because of the popularity of this event, this is a sign up only event as we only have limited space in the church.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of Widcombe Baptist Church is:

Cafe International
Cafe International is a free cultural cafe for International students of all faiths or none that is held at Widcombe Baptist Church at 19:30-22:30 each Tuesday evening during term time. More details available at the Cafe International website.


This is a great event for students from different cultures to meet with each other and share some thoughts. Sometimes the event may even be featuring with cultural festival to show versatility. 

Fellowship Meeting(9, Dec, 2011)

This Wednesday at Bath Abbey, the University would be having a carol service, for those of you who are interested to go, please let me know by replying this email and meet me at 7.00pm outside Sainsbury local opposite the bus station on that evening.

This Friday, we would continue to look at the gospel of Mark during our regular fellowship meeting. We would meet at 7.30pm at the University Chaplaincy Centre.
